• Learning From My Wagering Blunders

I have been wagering on the internet or at land based gambling halls for many years. I have been taught, the addiction usually will acquire a hold of you and you won’t even see it up until you are beaten. Markedly if you are on a run. I have gone through uncounted thousands of dollars in a very tiny period of time and even still on occasion, I sometimes go a bit too far. It seems you are only enjoying yourself up till you choose to pay attention to your losses and the guilt settles in, and of course you keep telling yourself "I am able to gain it back" repeatedly. It does not work. Then you feel icky in your abdomen and the more you try the more rapidly you relinquish.

When you find that you are in the black, STAY on the UP! When you start to squander, don’t convince yourself, "well only one more" a number of times, believe in me, this scheme barely ever functions. Say you plan on playing on slot machine games, keep a number separate prior to beginning your wagering. DON’T exceed that range, regardless of how appealing. If you happen to succeed, put the winnings in a separate cup. Don’t spend your earnings no matter what. After you have played through your beginning set cutoff, stop. Leave, whether it’s online or at a land based casino, don’t stay at the tables or machines. At all times keep in mind, there certainly is another day, another time. Clearly, this method is able to function for any game that you wager on, be it bingo, poker, electronic poker, keno, vingt-et-un or any other casino game.

Remember, wagering is supposed to be entertaining not backbreaking, appalling work! If you aren’t having fun yourself, you do not belong at the casinos. If you cannot afford the losses, do not ever start.
