• Being Taught From My Betting Failures

    [ English ]

First to clarify the reason I wrote this essay. I have been betting on the internet or at physical casinos for many years. I have learned, the dependency can take a hold of you and you will not even realize it until you are penniless. Particularly if you are on a winning streak. I’ve gone through countless tens of thousands of dollars in only a short period of time and still on occasion, I’ll go a bit too far. It seems you’re just having a blast until you start to pay attention to your loss and the anguish sets in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can win it back" constantly. It never works. Then you become queasy in your gut and the more you try the quicker you lose.

When you notice that you are up, remain on the UP! When you start to lose, don’t tell yourself, "well just maybe one more" and over and over again, believe me, this plan RARELY ever works. Say you are betting on slots, have an amount set to the side prior to starting your action. Don’t exceed that limit, no matter how tempting. If you happen to win, put that in a separate pot. Don’t spend your winnings no matter what. Once you have gambled through your primary set limit, bail out. Leave, whether it’s online or at a land-based betting house, don’t stick around. Always keep in mind, there is going to be another day, a different time.

Remember, wagering should be exciting not backbreaking, sickening work! If you aren’t having fun yourself, you do not belong there. If youcan’t afford the loss, don’t even start.
